In addition to writing romance novels, I am very active in the independent film industry. I participate in all stages of production and have worked on projects that fall into a wide range of genres: horror, romantic-comedy, surreal drama and drama.
Pre-Production
In pre-production, I have served as Script Editor, Assistant Casting Director and Shooting Scheduler. I edited scripts. I organized casting calls, rehearsals and table readings (in which I also participated). I also created shooting schedules.
Production
Production is always the most exciting part of a project. I have performed many different roles during production. I was a special effects make-up artist on two projects, providing what I refer to as blood-and-guts make-up (burns, cuts, gashes, blood) and, in some instances, making actors appear to be corpses. This was particularly fun because the crew tended to gather around to watch and seemed to really get a kick out of it. I also provided other special effects, such as candy glass car windows that could safely be shattered without cutting or otherwise harming the actor inside. Other jobs I have performed include those typical of Casting Coordinator and Production Assistant. I have even been an extra more than once and appeared on-screen.
Post-Production
Post-Production is the stage in which I am able to be the most creative; so it is my favorite part of a project. I have edited films, working with the producer/director to realize his vision. I have constructed movie trailers and designed movie posters. I also design websites. Below is a poster I created for The Stairwell, a surreal drama that won an award at the Jamerican International Film and Music Festival, deemed one of the top ten film festivals in the world by E! Entertainment. 
In addition to designing the poster, I edited the film, created the trailer and provided the special effects make-up during production. Click on the poster to view the trailer.
Latest News
I am currently working on an independent horror feature film entitled Ghosts. In Pre-Production, I organized the shooting schedule and designed the poster below. 
During production, I provided some special effects and special effects makeup and served as script supervisor and still photographer. Now, in Post-Production, I will edit the film, add further special effects, then design the DVD and create a trailer.
